The design and the realization of the work spaces of the Delta Galil Headquarters have taken into account the employee’s needs of comfort, emphasizing open spaces, light and transparency. These factors want to encourage creativity, the sharing of knowledge, the building of the team and the communication between colleagues.The definition of the brief, strongly connected to the company, has permitted the understanding of the managerial and the work style, but also the vicinities between the different departments and consequently the typologies of layout that have to be adopted.It has been a team work that has not only involved Facility Managers, but also HR and EDP managers. If once the dimensions and the typologies of the offices were only based on people’s roles, in this case the spaces have been thought in a different way: they lay the foundations on the activities and on the application of a non-territoriality logic (team work, relax and interaction, individual work, extra spaces). Basically, according to the “smart working” values. Therefore, the new goals of the company are clear: multifunctionality, flexibility of spaces, wellness service and brand importance. Brand is not the logo, but the analysis of the values and the way these values can be turned into physical elements, transmitting emotions and group identity. Finally, attention has been paid to the development of the break areas and the in between, places for informal meetings, related to the new ways of working.
