The whole Villa Stadler architectural complex, which is the object of the current Feasibility Study, is located alongside the Marocchesa street, in Marocco, on the southern border of the Mogliano Veneto town area, about 3 km from the town centre, bordering on the Venezia district, towards the Terraglio’s SS 13.
The building, which was already Villa Guadagnin and became Villa Stadler after a change in its end use, was enlarged, probably between the end of the XIX and the beginning of the XX Century. As it is also understandable from the different architectural features, the southern part was completely modified, both internally and externally. Recently, the building has been further expanded with a block on the north-west side, connected with the old building through an over-built porch. The current structure is composed by the main façade, north-oriented, balanced and characterized by a porch, passing central through three round arches culminating in a tympanum with a moulding and a circular central hole, flanked by two symmetric lateral wings.”
The refurbishment of Villa Stadler’s structure is intended to host the Generali Real Estate “Learning e Development.
The hypothesis is the one of working on the historic building potential, revaluating its spatial-figurative elements, like:
The very big north side, distinguished by a porch passing central with three round arches that culminate with a tympanum. The tympanum is flanked by two lateral wings that are not symmetric at the moment. But according to the project, they will be symmetric.
The west side, still maintaining one internal and three external porch arches – reference to the historic pictures – that the project wants to use as the internal façade of the wide Hall-Foyer space, in memory of the early façade of the main building, looking at the Dese.
